Description
The 4C-FUTURE project is essential to equipping students with the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world. By creating a comprehensive methodology for developing the “4Cs” i.e. Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication in school education, the project will empower teachers to provide their students with a high-quality education that prepares them for the future.
The aims of the 4C-FUTURE project are the following:
- to develop a comprehensive methodology for developing 4Cs in school education, incorporating games, activities, and gamification to motivate students and enhance their learning experience,
- to provide professional development opportunities for teachers to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach the 4Cs effectively, including experiential education and facilitation of experience to enhance student engagement,
- to create an interdisciplinary approach to teaching 4Cs, emphasizing their importance to all subject areas, and addressing the importance of digital, information, and media literacy in developing critical thinking skills. The project will aim to combat conspiracy theories and fake news by equipping students with critical thinking skills that will enable them to evaluate information sources and distinguish fact from fiction. The project will also encourage students to be skeptical of information that lacks credibility and curious about the evidence behind any claims.
The ultimate goal is to positively impact student learning outcomes and equip them with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st-century workforce.
