DAISSy-HOU invites you to the online Course on “Accessible Digital Education”

logo-adedu-mdThe DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), the academic Greek partner of the “Accessible Digital EDUcation (ADEDU)” European project, invites educators and anyone interested to participate in its online Course aiming at enhancing digital education practices for people with learning disabilities. 

Specifically, through this Course, participants will be able to enhance their skills by enriching them with material regarding strategies tailored for students with learning disabilities. Furthermore, they will get the opportunity to, network with peers and experts and provide impactful feedback to help refine the Course content and delivery for future training programs. 

More precisely and with regard to the ADEDU online training Course, it is noteworthy that:

  • It runs in English for five weeks in a self-paced mode, providing full flexibility to the learners.
  • Experienced tutors are facilitating the learners by replying to any relevant question.
  • It includes an Introduction and four Modules, namely:
    1. Identifying learning disabilities in the classroom
    2. Differentiated instruction and personalised learning
    3. Integrating technology in inclusive education
    4. Inclusive classroom management and conflict resolution.
  • The first cycle of the Course will run till the end of August 2025.

  • By completing the self-assessment quizzes successfully, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. 

ADEDU is a thirty-month project (01.01.2024-30.06.2026) co-funded by the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union. It is implemented by a consortium of five (5) organizations from three (3) European countries, coordinated by “ALL DIGITAL” (Belgium), and having as partners the “European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD)” (Belgium), the “Media Education Centre (MEC)” (Serbia), the “IASIS” NGO and the “Hellenic Open University-DAISSy Research Group” (Greece).
