The project aims at enhancing the quality of school education by providing teachers with innovative methodologies for developing the “4Cs“ i.e. Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication. It is currently undergoing by the DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), as the Greek partner.

More precisely, the “4C-FUTURE” project seeks to support EU school educators by:

  • Developing a 4C-FUTURE Methodology, integrating research findings and teacher feedback to create an effective teaching framework.
  • Creating a Toolset and Guide that includes teaching materials, resources, and engaging activities.
  • Establishing an Online Training Platform for teachers to enhance their professional skills.
  • Conducting Pilot Training Programs to test and refine the methodology.
  • Implementing a Dissemination, Sustainability, and Exploitation Strategy to maximize impact.

The DAISSy Research Group of the HOU, the Greek project partner, is involved in all project deliverables, and responsible for developing the 4C Future Online Training Platform, which aims at training educators in innovative teaching methodologies. Leveraging its e-learning and digital pedagogy expertise, DAISSy-HOU will create a user-friendly platform that integrates gamification and experiential learning to enhance teacher engagement.

Furthermore, DAISSy-HOU will ensure that the “4C-FUTURE” platform is accessible by translating and localizing its components for educators in various partner countries while contributing to research on competency-based teaching. Through participation in multiplier events and promotion within academic networks, DAISSy-HOU aims to support the project’s long-term sustainability. By bridging technology and education, DAISSy-HOU equips teachers with the necessary resources, so as to foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and classroom communication.

The “4C-FUTURE” is a three-year project (1.12.2024–30.11.2027) funded by the ERASMUS Lump Sum Grant of the EU and is coordinated by the “EPMA” (Czechia) with five (5) partners in four (4) EU member states (Czechia, Greece, Portugal and Bulgaria). DAISSy-HOU will be thoroughly linked for the effective implementation of the project activities in Greece, embracing also several respective stakeholders aiming at the multiple exploitation of the project results and its impact.
